How Can We Help You?

Why would an instructor have issues with adding a student to their roster or adding an Instructor Candidate to their Instructor-Led Event?

There are several conditions that could prevent an Instructor from registering a student or an Instructor Candidate from the Quick Search tool:
  • If the student or Instructor Candidate is already registered for a different Instructor-Led event, you will see the message “Already registered for an event” below the person’s information in the Quick Search.
  • If the person has not yet enrolled and started in the appropriate curriculum (Provider or Instructor Candidate), you will see the message “Not Enrolled” below the person’s information in the Quick Search.
We recommend ensuring students are enrolled in the correct curriculum. If they have enrolled, ensure they are not currently registered for a different event.
Learners will not be able to be registered for the event if:

  • The individual has not enrolled in the curriculum
  •  If the have enrolled in the curriculum but have not clicked the Start button for the Part 1 course.
  •  It could also be because the individual is already registered for a different event.

The Student Search must be used to find individuals that are enrolled in the Provider Curriculum. The Instructor Candidate Search must be used to search for individuals that are enrolled in the Instructor Candidate Curriculum.
If the wrong search issued, the individual will not be selectable (for example, if the Student Search is used to try to find an Instructor Candidate, the Instructor Candidate will not be selectable.)
