I took Part 1 of the NRP Provider curriculum (online components), but I have not taken the in-person part of the course (Instructor-led Event) within the required 90 days. How do I start over?
After completing Part 1 of the NRP Provider curriculum, you have 90 days in which to complete the Instructor-led Event in Part 2. If you do not complete this event after 90 days, you will have to re-enroll in the NRP Provider curriculum and take Part 1 again. The NRP Provider curriculum is non refundable.
- If you self-enrolled through the NRP LMS, the system will not allow you to re-enroll in the curriculum from the catalog if you still have the previous curriculum on your To Do list. To remove the old curriculum, select “7th Edition NRP Provider” from your To Do list. On the right side of the screen, click the button to “Un-Enroll from Curriculum.” You will see a warning message letting you know that unenrolling will require a reassignment or repurchase of the curriculum. Click “Yes, un-enroll from this curriculum.” You will then be able to re-enroll in a new curriculum.
- If you were assigned the curriculum by your hospital, an administrator will need to remove that assignment and re-assign the curriculum to you.
- If there are extenuating circumstances, an instructor may make an exception to the 90-day rule and allow a student to take an Instructor-led Event if this time limit has passed. This exception should be made at the instructor’s discretion.
